Who we are

An independent marketing research company whose passion is providing quality marketing research services with consumer insight. Based in Hong Kong, our strength is the Greater China region — China, Hong Kong and Taiwan — with the expertise to carry out projects across wider Asian markets.

All field management is handled internally at our Hong Kong office, and regional partners work to the same stringent quality guidelines. We go to each market to run qualitative sessions and brief interviewers ourselves.

Greater China — Hong Kong, Taiwan and China across key provinces and remote cities alike. Regionally: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea and Japan, through our network of strategic research partners.

David Hui

Director & Founder

David founded Strategic Focus in 1996 after years in international research and advertising. He moderates personally — in English, Cantonese and Mandarin — and leads every engagement from brief to debrief.

An individual member of ESOMAR and QRCA, he has directed research across Greater China and Asia-Pacific for global clients in FMCG, finance, technology and healthcare.
